I hope to...
'seek a richer story giving a sense of the individual'.
'how long do they research at home / what are their thoughts / what is their tempo etc'?
'Go home with them and photograph their work spaces'
'Observe their lives day to day'
'The context of the research for brief is just a slice, the brief and artifact are aren't so important' So I will continue with photographing the students' work and will also interview them on their personal researching activity and methods etc in an attempt to get a sense of them.
Hi there, interesting stuff. I look forward to your findings
ReplyDeleteHi Steph, looking forward to seeing the students spaces and observe their lives day to day. Well done it is a really interesting angle. Jane.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments guys. It rolling along really, although work has been utter madness for the past few weeks running up to the year end and exhibition. My students have just finished now and I am marking since Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteI've a lot of photos from my case study groups' sketchpads to pour over, analyse, assess what it captures, edit - etc. etc. but I'm getting there slowly and enjoying it. I've done a video piece with each student also on Kierans advice and that has been enormously informative and given me great insight. I will upload that in the coming week hopefully. all the best! x
